Dancing through hair, hands, hips—this body, this skin.

A curious glance becomes a heavy wicked glare,
Once too young to care, now its everywhere I stare
Your gaze isn’t curious; it’s claiming, it’s bare,

So I dance—not for the throne of light,
But to survive the long, creeping night.
"Eyes down, I start to smirk,
I trust that God will do her dirty work."

I walk like a woman, fierce in her grace,
With every step, I reclaim my space.
