She is a piece of true beauty, standing tall, with striking colours. A piece inspired from a journal sketch during my travels in Amsterdam. Feeling poised and powerful in my own skin. I sat in a park, willows draping into the canal, sun filtered leaving specks of warmth on my face and in the company of family. I felt as though I found myself in the right place at the right time. Not waiting, not wanting, not daydreaming, but in that very moment… I was exactly where and who I wanted to be. What a feeling!
