I used to believe I could. That as a girl, I could run the world, captain a ship, change laws, walk freely, and be safe.

But the world teaches otherwise. It tests us, chips away at the certainty we once had. We witness injustice, endure rage, and grieve the loss of faith.

I refuse to accept it. I refuse to play nice, to stay quiet, to believe there’s nothing we can do. 

My protest?

I reclaim my right to dream. And live as if the world is already so.

And you—man, woman, whoever you are—what will you fight for?

Some things are worth digging your heels in, marching for, & potentially looking stupid for. Don’t roll over, be submissive to the way things are. Be defiant, believe in the dream, the way it could be.

Let anger rise—it fuels action. Let grief settle—it shapes wisdom. Find the vision & make it real.
